Gavdi Group is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Controller to further develop and oversee our controlling and reporting processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support growth and profitability.
Job summary
You will be responsible for the overall financial reporting within Gavdi Group. This role involves financial planning and analysis, financial data analysis and supporting established business processes. The role requires you to maintain our standard of compliance in accordance with relevant local regulations and standards. You will work closely, and support our accounting departments across multiple Gavdi Group entities. The expectation is that you will also play a key role in providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop Gavdi Groups financial data model ensuring a high level of data quality and accuracy
- Prepare and review monthly, and annual financial reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations in the area of compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to the company’s commercial strategy
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting, and finance roles.
- Knowledge with SAP R/3 FI/CO and PS + MS Power BI
- Excellent analytical, communication, skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Experience in working in an organisational Matrix set-up would.
