Project Description

Nexteer Automotive Poland, a branch of Nexteer Automotive, a global manufacturer of steering and drive systems, is deploying SAP Employee Central Payroll, an advanced Cloud HR and payroll management solution. It is the first such project in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Its innovativeness consists in integrating the ecosystems and moving payroll to the cloud. Gavdi Polska S.A. is responsible for the implementation.

“Innovation is one of the main values we strongly focus on in all areas of our operations. Bearing this in mind, we had been looking for a modern and intuitive solution in line with current trends in effective management of the HR and payroll area. This is why we chose SAP Employee Central Payroll,” says Teresa Sielawa, HR Manager, Nexteer Automotive Poland.

As part of the deployment, the SuccessFactors Employee Central module and SAP Employee Central Payroll, the cloud-based payroll module integrated with SuccessFactors Employee Central (“Point-to-Point Replication”), will be launched. SAP Cloud Platform will also be used, with embedded Gavdi’s proprietary applications for working time planning and settlement as well as for personnel costs planning, via the SAP Fiori interface. As a result, all HR and payroll processes will be supported in a single, integrated, cloud-based environment, which will substantially improve the company’s effectiveness and performance. It is the first such deployment in Central and Eastern Europe.

“We are happy that Nexteer Automotive Poland has put so much trust in us. We are aware of the importance of the contract, in particular when we take into account that it is the first such deployment in our region. The project’s innovative character as well as years of experience and the expertise of our team will enable us to quickly deliver business value to Nexteer Automotive,” says Teresa Olszewska, President of the Board, Gavdi Polska S.A.

As part of cloud architecture, Gavdi will also deliver a number of proprietary solutions, i.e. Gavdi eDeklaracje (electronically generates and sends employees’ tax returns in the SAP system), Gavdi Document Generator (streamlines generating HR and payroll documents), Gavdi ePaski (allows to digitize and automate the process of preparing payslips and other documents, e.g. RMUA, PIT, and delivering them to employees), Gavdi Social Insurance Adjustments (enables preparation of corrective Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) documents directly in the SAP system), Gavdi Reporter (enables flexible reporting of employee data from SAP HCM in various layouts), and Gavdi Replicator (supports the process of creating a realistic test environment by copying the data from the production system to the test/development system).

Deployment started in October 2017, and is scheduled to be completed mid-year. Ultimately, the solution will be used by 1,800 employees of the company.
